Christian Musicians Fellowship of Boston

The Christian Musicians Fellowship of Boston aims to provide a nurturing support system for the Christian musician. This support system aims to encourage, educate, mentor and build up the Christian musician in what we consider the five major areas in the life of the Christian musician: spiritual life, physical life, financial life, the life of his or her personal relationships, and the life of his or her musical career. It also provides the element of fellowship, which is vital to any Christian's walk.

CMFs are held once a month (usually on Sunday) at the home of George & Emily Russell, from 3:00PM to 6:00PM. Typical activities will include jam sessions, information sessions, hanging out, refreshments, watching an athletic event, etc.

CMF dates will be posted in advance on this website and information will be emailed to members. Please RSVP by phone or email by the Friday before the fellowship, if you are able to attend.

This fellowship is for current, active musicians.

MUSICIANS BOOT CAMP 2008!
George W. Russell, Jr. Musicians Boot Camp
intensive training for serious musicians
May 12th - June 9th, 2008

This four-week program features four private lessons with distinguished music professor and award-winning performer George W. Russell, Jr., and includes group master classes in:

•  Improvisation

•  Ensemble techniques

•  Performance workshops

The series will culminate in a gala concert featuring all participants.

This program is designed for intermediate to advanced piano players.
Other instrumentalists and vocalists welcome upon request.
